Global Backoffice Specialist (f/m/d)

As a highly successful and dynamic company, we provide support to nationally and internationally active customers and have received several awards for our work.

Role Summary 

The Global Backoffice Specialist will provide centralised finance and back-office support for multiple international entities. This role ensures accurate financial operations, compliance with local regulations, and efficient coordination with external accounting partners. The position is critical for maintaining governance, optimising processes, and enabling scalability across regions. 

Your tasks:

  • Prepare management accounts (financial statements) together with support schedules 
  • Responsible for general back-office operations and administrative support. 
  • Perform bank postings and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness. 
  • Oversee AP/AR processes, including invoicing, accruals, and fixed asset reconciliations 
  • Administer corporate credit cards and execute supplier and expense payments 
  • Maintain vendor and contract records and support the completion of compliance questionnaires 
  • Liaise with external accountants (Osome, AHK, Alton, AU partner) for statutory and audit requirements 
  • Manage Travel bookings 

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 
  • 3–5+ years in finance operations/shared services; multi-entity experience preferred 
  • Strong Excel and ERP knowledge; familiarity with expense/credit card tools 
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
