Sales Development & Operations Associate (f/m/d)

About us:

This role is available for whole North America!

proMX is a consulting company based in Germany, USA, UK, India, Canada, Singapore and Australia. As a Microsoft Solutions Partner, we focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365, project and resource management, process consulting and software development. As a very successful and dynamic company, we support nationally and internationally active customers and have already received several awards for our work.

Your role:

As a Sales Development & Operations Associate, you will support the North American sales team across both sales activities and commercial operations.

You will initially assist with incoming opportunities, customer requests, proposals, CRM administration, licensing, renewals, and coordination between internal teams. As you develop in the role, you will become increasingly involved in opportunity qualification, customer conversations, project-based sales, and the wider sales process.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who already understands B2B technology, software, or consulting sales and wants to grow into a broader customer-facing sales role within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Your qualifications:

  • Review, qualify, and respond to incoming leads and customer enquiries
  • Conduct initial customer conversations to understand business needs, requirements, timelines, and decision-making processes
  • Support Sales Managers with opportunity development and follow-up activities
  • Help prepare proposals, quotes, presentations, contracts, Statements of Work, and tender responses
  • Coordinate with Presales and Delivery teams to develop suitable customer solutions
  • Create and maintain opportunities, quotes, orders, and projects in Dynamics 365
  • Keep customer, contact, opportunity, and activity information accurate and up to date in the CRM
  • Follow up on open opportunities and ensure that agreed next steps are completed
  • Support Microsoft-related sales activities, partner initiatives, and customer engagements
  • Participate in relevant customer calls and project sales opportunities
  • Support contract creation, amendments, renewals, extensions, and additional purchases
  • Assist with Microsoft licensing, CSP subscriptions, renewals, product selection, and pricing validation
  • Research relevant Microsoft funding programmes, incentives, and presales engagement opportunities
  • Coordinate activities across Sales, Presales, Finance, Project Management, and Delivery
  • Support existing customers with commercial requests and identify potential expansion opportunities
  • Contribute to improvements in sales processes, CRM usage, and commercial documentation
  • Gradually take greater ownership of opportunities and customer relationships as experience develops

What You Bring:

  • 2–5 years of experience in technology sales, inside sales, sales development, business development, account coordination, sales operations, or a similar B2B role
  • Experience communicating directly with customers and supporting commercial conversations
  • Ability to qualify customer needs and identify appropriate next steps
  • Strong interest in developing towards project-based sales and account ownership
  • Experience working with CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several opportunities and customer requests simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Confidence working across different internal teams and following activities through to completion
  • Commercial mindset with a willingness to learn about Microsoft business applications and consulting services
  • Proactive, curious, and comfortable taking initiative

Nice to have:

  • Experience in B2B technology, software, SaaS, or consulting
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, or Microsoft 365
  • Exposure to Dynamics 365 Project Operations or professional services sales
  • Experience preparing proposals, SOWs, tender responses, or customer presentations
  • Knowledge of Microsoft licensing, CSP, Partner Center, and the Microsoft partner program
  • Experience qualifying inbound leads or supporting opportunity generation
  • Previous involvement in customer discovery calls, demos, or presales activities

We offer:

  • Open and cooperative corporate culture with nice colleagues and a trustful working atmosphere
  • Flat hierarchy
  • Flexible working hours and possibility to work from home
  • Further training opportunities
  • Future-oriented work with a focus on innovation
  • Long term employment
  • Free mental health platform

Development Opportunity:

The role will begin with a combination of sales support, opportunity coordination, CRM administration, proposals, licensing, and customer requests. Over time, the successful candidate will be expected to develop deeper knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Project Operations, participate more actively in project sales, and gradually take ownership of selected opportunities and customer relationships.
