Highlights of the proMX Project Operations Summit 2025
In April, industry leaders and innovators gathered at the Microsoft headquarters in Munich for the proMX Project Operations Summit 2025. This major event, hosted by proMX and Microsoft, brought together experts, Dynamics users and interested parties to discuss topics centered around Microsoft solutions, such as Dynamics 365, the Power Platform, and Copilot.
Over the course of two days in Bavaria’s vibrant capital, the participants listened to insightful speeches from Microsoft, proMX, and real-world users of these technologies. Due to the offline nature of the event, it provided a perfect opportunity for the attendees to network with each other and the experts.

Day 1: business transformation
After an introduction from Peter Linke, CEO of proMX Group, and Mathias Klaas, Partner Development Manager at Microsoft, the microphone was handed to Georg Glantschnig, VP, Dynamics 365 AI ERP at Microsoft, to deliver the first keynote on the future of autonomous ERP for service organizations.
It was followed by two proMX customer keynotes from industry leaders: Domenico Crisan from Siemens Mobility talked about his company’s Project Operations implementation journey. The head of the Climate Action program at Deutsche Bahn, Udo Becker, together with some colleagues, explained how they utilized Project Operations for project management and coordinating high governmental funds. Next, Rupa Mantravadi, Principal Group Product Manager at Microsoft, supported by Sebastian Sieber, Global Technology Director at proMX, did a deep dive into Copilot in Dynamics 365 Project Operations.
After a lunch break, four Project Operations users engaged in a lively panel discussion about Dynamics 365 Project Operations. Moderator Kseniya Verpeta asked about company achievements with the solution, but also about challenges.

Relevant for future customers was the info on eligibility for Microsoft budgets. Our proMX experts eventually rounded off the day discussing how to successfully migrate from Dynamics 365 Project Service Automation to Project Operations, and how to manage resources with Dynamics 365.
Day 2: Technological innovations
The second day started on an equally exciting note: a keynote from Oliver Gürtler, Small, Medium and Corporate Leader at Microsoft. Up next was a customer keynote from Michael Städtler, Head of Digital Business Solutions at Gruner. He gave valuable tips on what to watch out for when implementing Project Operations.
A big focus of this day was on AI in general and Microsoft’s AI assistant Copilot in particular. proMX experts, as well as Microsoft executive Rupa Mantravadi, presented news in this area and demonstrated the use of Copilot – for example in a sales context.

Since integration with other solutions is a big advantage of Dynamics 365, the agenda included another session focused on major integrations. The summit was concluded with an engaging panel discussion among Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs) from proMX and Microsoft experts, discussing their Dynamics 365 implementation experiences and answering questions from the audience regarding the balance between customization and standardization.

Establishing business contacts
In between the sessions, hosts, experts, and guests connected over some snacks and coffee or toasted with beer in the evening – we were in the heart of Bavaria, after all.

Participants had the opportunity to talk to our proMX experts regarding the right solutions for their business, often asking more specific questions about sales and numbers. They also were able to connect directly with Microsoft executives. There was also plenty of networking with both current and potential users of Dynamics 365 and related solutions.
