On February 12, 2019, proMX welcomed guests at Microsoft Germany headquarters in Munich for its first ever dedicated customer day. The event aimed at making customers that have already digitized certain aspects of their business aware of further possibilities and sensitize them for digital transformation topics.

At the event, participants took part in interactive sessions and could network with other businesses, Microsoft and our partners. All in the name of getting new impulses for their digitization projects.

Our partners, Microsoft Germany, Magnify Innovation, Cloudbridge Consulting and Intershop Communications, as well as longtime customer, hhpberlin – Ingenieure für Brandschutz, contributed their expertise to ensure an event packed with valuable insights.

“Act, don’t hesitate”

After proMX CEO Peter Linke and VP of Business Development Eva Pisotska had welcomed guests, Gregor Bieler, who is a member of Microsoft Germany’s management team, inspired guests with a passionate keynote. In it Bieler urged business decision makers to “act more and hesitate less”: “To those that block change, I say: digital transformation is not optional. It’s better to act now and gain a competitive edge.”

According to Bieler, a modern business must confront outdated structures. Today’s management does not have to be able to answer every question but it must be able to react flexibly to demands and delegate tasks. “Rockstar CEOs are a thing of the past. I have never said ‘I don’t know’ more than I have in the last two years.”

Bieler called proMX a safe haven for a company’s digital transformation because the digitization experts had extensive knowhow in future technologies.

Finding success on new paths

hhpberlin is a company that did not hesitate. Its radical break with its conservative business processes and the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 with the help of proMX has made the fire engineering company into a digital transformation success story.

“For us this is a partnership, not a consulting relationship. A consultant detects pain but doesn’t cure it. A partner is somone that supports me along my path”, said CRM Process Manager Jessica Prehm about the collaboration.

CEO Stefan Truthän also talked passionately about the central meaning of change management: “Employees don’t want bureaucracy. They want to work with passion.”

Combined know-how

True to the motto “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts”, three of proMX’s partner companies contributed their expertise: Dr. Tobias Adam (Magnify Innovation) spoke about systematic innovation, Lukas Kringe (Intershop) about e-commerce, and Nicolas Wandschneider (Cloudbrige) about lead generation in the digital age.

proMX specialists, Serdar Dedesah and Sebastian Sieber gave insights into Dynamics 365 for Marketing and Dynamics 365 for Project Service Automation respectively. Daniel Bach demonstrated with a live experiment how IoT and Dynamics 365 for Field Service can provide real-time asset data to service technicians.

Celebration

Our customers have already accomplished a lot. And we think success ought to be celebrated! Therefore, we toasted our collaboration during a joint dinner, ending the day in a relaxed mood with ample time to reflect on our learings and talk about our ideas.
